Dr. Robert Anderson is an Associate Professor in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and the Associate Dean for Postgraduate Medical Education and Health Sciences Programs. He is a clinician educator with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with a focus on workplace-based assessment. Through his academic journey he has served as Medical Director for the LaBelle Innovation and Learning Center at Health Sciences North, Program Director for Anesthesiology and CBME lead for NOSM. Dr. Anderson has keen interests in change management, feedback and quality improvement, and advancing simulation strategies to support distributed sites, professional identity formation and social accountability. He was the recipient of the 2014 RCPSC Program Director of the Year award and the 2016 CAME Certificate of Merit.
